FAQ
Before you ask us
Is it really OK to work with students?
Yes. Even as students, we take full responsibility for every restaurant's website we are entrusted with. The same members handle everything from consultation, on-site meetings, and photography to production and launch. You will check the finished pages before launch, and we publish them only once you are satisfied. Revisions are free for one month after launch.
Are you working on behalf of the university?
No. We are a volunteer team run by students of Tokyo University of Science, not an officially recognized university organization.
Can I ask you even if I am not good with computers?
Yes. We visit your restaurant and move forward while listening to you. No difficult words or operations are needed.
Can I just ask for advice?
Of course. Consultation is free. Please feel free to contact us even if you have not decided whether to request our services.
Which areas do you cover?
We mainly work with restaurants around Kagurazaka and Iidabashi. Restaurants in other areas are also welcome to ask.
Can you renew (rebuild) our current website?
Yes, we can.
What if we have no photos?
No problem. Our photographer will visit your restaurant and take them.
About costs
How much does it cost?
The production fee is free for our 1st pilot restaurant and ¥33,000 (incl. tax) for the 2nd and 3rd (photography included in both). After the pilot program, the fee is ¥88,000 for the 1st to 3rd restaurants, ¥132,000 for the 4th to 6th, and ¥165,000 from the 7th onward (all including tax and photography).
Are there any costs besides the production fee?
The actual costs of the server and domain apply. Monthly maintenance is optional and costs ¥11,000 per month (incl. tax; free for 3 months for pilot restaurants). Without monthly maintenance, text corrections from one month after launch cost ¥1,100 per correction (incl. tax).
Why are the server and domain in the restaurant's name?
So that the website is truly your restaurant's own property. We handle the management for you.
About production
How long does it take?
About one month from our first meeting to launch. It may vary depending on the photo shoot schedule and revisions.
I heard you use AI. Is the quality OK?
We use AI (Claude) for writing the code. Our members check and finish the design, text, how it looks on smartphones, and loading speed one by one. We also ask you to check everything before launch.
What if I want to change the menu?
You can update it yourself from a smartphone or computer. When we deliver the website, we try it together and give you a manual with pictures.
After launch
Can you post news for us?
Yes. With monthly maintenance, we post it for you.
What if we want changes after launch?
Revisions are free for one month after launch. After that, monthly maintenance covers text corrections (up to twice a month). Without monthly maintenance, we accept text corrections for ¥1,100 per correction (incl. tax) and other revisions from ¥5,500 per request (incl. tax).
Can you set up Google Maps or send access reports?
We are sorry, but we do not offer these services at this time.
What happens to the website when you graduate?
Because the server and domain are contracted in your restaurant's name, you can keep using the website after we graduate. The admin screen for updating the menu (microCMS) is handed over so that both your restaurant and our team can edit it. Monthly maintenance is available until our members graduate (March 2029). For changes after we graduate, we will prepare a handover document so you can ask another web design company or freelancer.
